Ike Watch

A hurricane, are you kidding me? Since a few people have called and asked, I thought I should let you know that the latest forecasts show us being pretty well in the clear. They're saying Ike should blow east of Dallas, with the worst of the winds on the east side. Here in Lewisville, we expect winds 40-60 mph and lots of rain. We are advised to prepare for possible power outages, and secure outside items. So we plan to bring the bikes in from the balcony, get our candles ready, and batten down the hatches. Jordan has to go in to work a few hours, but we think we'll all be fine. Our prayers are with those less fortunate, and we appreciate YOUR thoughts and prayers. If we lose power for a day or two, our phone and email won't work, so we'll charge up the old cell phone! Talk to you soon!
