What do I do all day? Week? Month?
Clearly, I am not ready to handle the responsibility of a blog. Afraid to commit? Perhaps. But one blog entry since Christmas? Pathetic! I can -- and will! -- do better. I am soooo not busy; just boring! If only I could think of something -- anything -- interesting that I have been doing lately to write about.
So here's the deal: I have 3 topics in mind, and you, my fascinated (or very mildy interested) audience, get to vote on which, if anything, sounds most interesting. Leave a comment, send an e-mail, or call, whatever. Here goes:
Topic #1: Why Texas is not just its own country (whcih I always suspected), but is actually a parallel universe of its own.
Topic #2: Our Spring Break. What we did, what we wanted to do but didn't, etc.
Topic #3: My latest book recommendations and why.
While you think about how exciting any of those topics would be, I am trying to figure out how to jazz up my blog by linking to fun things on the Internet, like music, etc. I am so bad at technical things; if you can explain things quite simply, please please help me! Thanks!

Hi! How are you guys doing out in Texas? I know a cute website that has free backgrounds for your blog. www.thecutestblogontheblock.com. They explain how to do everything on the website. Nick and I are getting ready to move into our first home in about 3 weeks! That's pretty much all thats going on here. How about you guys?

Surprise us. Hey, you could start with spring break and then do the Texas' thing and then the books. There, you now have three entries already to go.
I just love to hear about what others are doing. It is always more interesting than my life.
Marylynn, we should have a little blogging playdate. I can show you the little that I know, which is enough but not overwhelming.

Hey I think they all sound good. I get ideas from others blogs too, but the one site I use the most is www.thecutestblogontheblock.com. I used to blog all the time, now it is slowing down to once a month. I'm trying to get back to it though.
All of the above! You always have so much to say about everything...why not write about it? Once you get in the habit, you'll have things come to your mind all the time that you think, "I should write a blog post about that." You know, things you observe when you're out and about (I know for a fact there are interesting people in Dallas,) recipes you made up or tried, you name it. You can do it!
