Texas Bluebells

The state flower of Texas is the bluebell, and it is bluebell season here!
Saturday morning, we went to our favorite park
and took pictures of the kids
in the middle of a big patch of bluebells!
It was really overcast (another tornado moving in, no big deal),
but that made for great light,
and I was really happy with these pictures.
What sweet kids!

Boone loves his sister sooo much!

Look at that hair! It reminds me of my little brother.

Love the excitement in this one!

Boone ponders the big questions:
Who am I?
Why am I here?
When is lunch?

The whole family.

After the flowers, the sandbox. Boone loves it here -- screaming tanturms when it's time to go home. Today (as is often the case), the tantrum was followed by complete collapse into a nap in the car on the way home!

Beautiful pictures and family. Wow! Boone looks so big. I love the pic of him laughing. Maaike looks all grown up, too. Glad you've found some fun places to hang out.
