Udderly Good, Part 2

When I posted my last cow story, it was clear to me what I was talking about, but as I re-read it, it seems I didn't make my point as clearly as I had intended; also I need to report some irony, perhaps make this a cautionary tale. What I should have said is that there are things that I spend too much time on, usually good things, but not great things. It starts out innocently enough, but sometimes these things consume me completely. I am talking here about my reading obsession -- a good thing, right? But it can get out of control. When I get a really good book, I immerse myself for the day or two it takes to read it, and my house, laundry, and sometimes family suffer. It is something I need to do better on. Which leads to the aforementioned irony, my confession. I was trying to commit my self to do better about spending my time on things that really matter; guess what? I fell off that wagon the very next day! I was reading one of my favorite blogs, The Meanest Mom -- so great!) and found another great blog (CJane, do you know her?), and loved it so much I spent, oh 3, 4 days reading all the archives, etc. I also checked out some of her links, and found CJane's sister, NieNie, and her blog story is so sweet, funny, and tragic in parts. If you know NieNie's story, you know about it without me going into more detail. If not and you want to, contact me, but trust me, it will involve tears. Then, I found CJane's and NieNie's brother, The Jolly Porter. Then, his wife, Oh Judy, and Light Refreshments Served.... See what I'm saying here? It started out with one very funny woman, and ended up with me glued to my computer, for over a week. Well over a week. So now, I have not only fallen behind in my housework and laundty and neglected my family, I have also fallen behind in my reading! So much for self-improvement! To make up for it, I am going to blog about my little family this week instead of reading any other blogs for a whole week! To get started on that, and ease my conscience, here's a picture of my cute kids:

Oh, I LOVE the blogs of the clark family, too. My sis-in-law had been raving about her friend NieNie and so I became addicted a couple years ago. She is brave and has a beautiful picture of her amazing eyes.

I am not going to even tell you how many blogs I frequently read. (I am supposed to be doing things like cleaning my house, too.)

Oh yeah, I've been a Clark Family addict for the past year now. Join the crew! I need a list of some of your favorite reads lately. Nursing provides lots of time for reading!
